GUYS! If it draws people’s eyes and gets those who wouldn’t normally be interested in these books to give them a try anyway…isn’t that a good thing?
I’m sort of torn about this. Agreeing that if it gets people to pick up the book, mission pretty much accomplished; but I’m also cringing at the buckling under Twilight’s appeal (whatever it is). These books are old and have already done their job of pulling people in all on their own, I don’t think they need popular imaging to sell a book that is great just by being on the shelf.
